Meet our children and young people’s team

Rise’s annual Early Years Conference 2024 is only weeks away – so exciting!

L-R: Louise Wallace, Louise Laws, Francesca Laban, Dani Crispin-Crook, Liliana Ciaraolo

This is the perfect time to introduce the team behind it all.

Our Children and Young People’s team knows how important the Early Years are - and want to ensure the youngest children in our communities grow and thrive!

The team is here to support amazing Early Years professionals to give children the best start in life and to create more active communities where children are healthier, happier and learn better.

Here are some of the ways the team can support your work:

Early Years Workforce Survey

Our Early Years Workforce Survey is aimed at people working in the Early Years across Northumberland and Tyne & Wear.

It’s your chance to tell us what you think about the sector today and how it can be supported.  If you work in a school, nursery, VCSE organisation, family hub or other similar organisation, working directly with children and families we want to hear from you!

Your responses will help us to shape the work we do to continue to support the Early Years sector and the youngest members of our communities.

In fact, all the work we do is based on the voices from the sector, ensuring that we can act on the needs, gaps and support you tell us you need. It is thanks to you that events like our Early Years Conference and Active Start exist!

You can complete the Workforce Survey anonymously or enter your details for a chance to win a £100 voucher.

Please share with your colleagues too we’d like as many responses as possible from people in all roles and different stages of their careers.

The more responses we receive, the more relevant and stronger our offer for the Early Years Sector will be.

Active Start

Active Start is a programme of training and resources for staff who work with children aged 2 to 5, to support them to integrate physical activity and movement into all areas of the EYFS to support children’s physical and holistic development.
